Mel is relatively new to the construction industry, currently she is working as a third year apprentice with Fairbrother. By joining NAWIC she hopes that other young females hoping to pursue a career in Construction will use her as inspiration and/or support/mentoring, "a lot of females just don't realise it's an option, for them".
I think this is an exciting opportunity for not just females but also for men to meet some pretty amazing and influential women in construction.
