Janine is a driven, passionate professional with a degree in architecture and urban design, and post-graduate qualifications in sustainability and climate policy. She has a wealth of experience, working in her native Germany, New Zealand and Australia in various roles, and is currently employed by Aurecon as Design Manager. Janine is a founding member of the Emerging Innovators network of the Smart Cities Council Australia & New Zealand (SCCANZ) established to accelerate sustainability through smart technologies. She has a particular interest in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration to foster innovation in the built environment and create a more equitable industry where the individual feels valued.
