NAWIC VIC | WORKSHOP - PUBLIC SPEAKING

NAWIC VIC | WORKSHOP - PUBLIC SPEAKING

How to improve your public speaking skills and be an engaging public speaker

Public speaking is a valuable communication tool. A great public speaker owns their unique voice, identity and message and is someone who you can relate to, someone that inspires you to take action or do something differently.

Public speaking is not just about sharing information, it is about creating change, raising awareness, sharing ideas and concepts. Learning key tools and strategies to improve your public speaking can help you; get your ideas taken seriously, create opportunities to advance your cause or career, improve your overall confidence and much more.

The NAWIC Victoria Education Committee is hosting a public speaking workshop.

The workshop outcomes include:
- Improved confidence and self-belief as a public speak.
- Ability to manage fear and strategies to prepare for optimal performance.
- Ability to craft engaging content and delivery.

The workshop will be presented by Tracey Leslie.

Tracey will take the attendees through understanding why you want to be a better public speaker and what it will give you; understanding your beliefs and fears about public speaking and how to manage the emotions that hold you back; skills, frames and strategies to prepare yourself, craft an engaging presentation and build your confidence as a public speaker.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Tracey Leslie, Founder, Tracey Leslie Coaching
With more than 25 years as an engineer in private, government and humanitarian contexts I am conscious of the challenges this world is facing. Like a lot of others in the industry I had my struggles with confidence, self-doubt and expressing my thoughts and opinions in the workplace. Coaching has enabled me to understand myself better, resolve what was holding me back, and build a strong resilient sense of self and my abilities. With greater awareness of ourselves we can do more and achieve more.
