NAWIC WA | WOMEN SHED: MIG WELDING WORKSHOP WITH WOMEN ON THE TOOLS 

Join Workforce Australia (Perth South Local Jobs) for a skill building welding workshop! 

This half-day course will teach you basic MIG welding skills under the guidance of experienced trainers from Women on the Tools. You’ll also take home your own hand-made figurine to show off to your friends.
 
You can expect to learn: 

• Welding safety
• Cutting and preparing mild steel
• MIG welding techniques; tacking work together and running a weld bead.
• Steel clean-up and finishing.

Please wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt (no synthetic materials) and sturdy closed in boots/shoes. All other safety equipment will be provided. 

Morning tea is included, plus chat to some experts about future job/career prospects.
