Please find below information about the 2026 program and key dates.

About the Program

NAWIC VIC is proud to announce the first cohort of our 2026 Mentoring Program.

In 2026, the program will feature two cohorts, enabling more participants to benefit from this highly sought-after initiative. This expansion reflects the program’s continued growth and strong demand from both mentors and mentees, made possible through the support of CPB Contractors as our program sponsor.

The NAWIC VIC Mentoring Program is designed to support women in the construction industry by fostering career development and helping participants achieve their professional goals. The program aligns with NAWIC’s vision of a world-class construction industry that delivers outstanding outcomes through the active involvement and contribution of women.

Our mission is to attract and retain women in the industry while encouraging leadership, capability building, and long-term career progression.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

The NAWIC Mentoring program is 8 months in duration. Program participants are provided with an information pack to assist them to meet and develop their individual objectives through working together.

It offers the mentees the opportunity to strive for higher levels of performance and the mentors to nurture this relationship through creative and strategic methods focused on achieving the mentee’s goals.

The program includes:

  • Meet and Greet

This breakfast networking event marks the start of the program and is the first official meeting between Mentee/ Mentor.

  • Workshops

These workshops will provide the tools necessary to begin and build on the mentoring relationship and will offer an opportunity to network, provide feedback and exchange ideas

  • Group Coaching Pods

The Group Coaching Pods provide mentees with the opportunity to seek guidance from an experienced coach in relation to their development needs and learn how to get the most out of their mentoring relationships.

  • Closing Celebration

Formal closure of the mentoring program, reflection on learnings and celebration of accomplishments.
