Jennifer is committed to encouraging diversity & career development within the property and construction industry. This is highlighted by her roles with the Property Council of Australia (PCA) and the Aust. Institute of Project Management (AIPM) for two years and most recently with National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) as State President driving cultural change for all, awareness and increased female participation in the construction industry. In her NAWIC roles she has re-ignited the Executive Leadership Program, School Book Series, Regional outreach, a more robust governance structure, strengthened Industry Partnerships and worked with government to deliver Exemplar Projects (first in Australia). Leading over 60 committee members to deliver several best in industry programs and scholarships inspired her to represent them with equal passion and innovation.
This has crossed over to her passion for sport and encouraging involvement at all levels and participation for all. Notably instigating and launching for her rugby club their Womens Strategic Plan in 2019, in 2020 the first Club Women’s Elite Development Program for Club Rugby, a Club Wallaroo Patrons Program and in 2021 the state’s (and likely nation’s) first women’s perpetual interclub challenge between Brothers and University. Currently holding advisory roles for the States Rugby Union
