INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY BREAKFAST 2022 POSTPONED

Given the current situation in the Greater Brisbane area, we have postponed the International Women’s Day Breakfast to Monday 28th March.  

While we are excited to celebrate women and female champions with our community, we are conscious of the risk of travelling as well as many families who are impacted by the floods.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the 28th March for a belated celebration.

Please join us for our Brisbane Chapter’s annual NAWIC International Women’s Day Event 2022 at Victoria Park Golf Club, Herston.

This years theme for IWD is Breaking the Bias.

Individually, we are all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.

We can break the bias in our communities.

We can break the bias in our workplaces.

We can break the bias in our schools, colleges and universities.

We will be joined by a guest speaker who will provide an insight into their story on bias – speaker to be announced soon!

Raffle:
We will be running a raffle on the day with plenty of goodies to be won! All proceeds go towards our scholarships.

COVID-19:
In response to the COVID-19 situation, we are following the venues COVID Safe Plan to ensure health and safety of all attendees. As part of the vaccination statuses will be required to be shown on entry into the venue.

Further to this, we recommend all attendees review and follow the recommendations put forward by the Queensland Government.
