Please join NAWIC for our ‘Sundowner Summary’ on sustainability in development and construction. As the construction industry moves towards targeting more sustainable designs, construction processes and client outcomes, we focus on how this is being achieved across the fit out and larger construction industries.

Nadja will be discussing Lendlease’s sustainability initiatives, specifically sustainability in construction as they embark on their Mission Zero – absolute zero carbon by 2040. Brenda is part of the team that has recently completed the JLL Office Fit out at Central Park and together with David, they will discuss the sustainability initiatives engaged by JLL while designing and constructing the Fit Out. 

The design of the new office embraces a flexible, co-working style that encourages collaboration, knowledge-sharing and innovation to maximise employees’ and clients’ experience.

Elements such as energy efficiency, construction methodology and workplace dynamics fall within the standards of two certifications – WELL and Green Star – in which JLL is targeting to become one of the first offices in Perth CBD to obtain both 5-Star Greenstar and WELL Gold ratings.
