Join Lendlease’s leading female project members on a site walk at one of NSW’s flagship projects, and gain valuable insight into Australia’s biggest public transport project. Located 31 metres below street level, you will see the largest single cavern platform of its type, during its fit-out stage, the stations northern entrance and services building structure as it reaches ground level, and the ongoing construction of the main station entrance and connecting pedestrian tunnel along with the current structural works for the over site development commercial tower that will rise above the station entrance. Lendlease is delivering the Sydney Metro Victoria Cross integrated station development which includes a 42-storey commercial building above the station’s southern entrance, integrating retail opportunities and enhancing North Sydney as a thriving commercial, residential and entertainment hub. Construction of the station interior and station entrance buildings will be completed in time for the opening of Sydney Metro City & Southwest in 2024. The visit will commence with a short presentation on the project’s key elements and current construction status and a Q&A panel from women working on the project, with the site walk to follow.
