Success Series Forum - Introducing Students / recent Graduates to the Construction Industry!

Sign up now to secure your spot!

An event for YOU
!  NAWIC and AIPM members are coming together to actively listen to a panel of mainly recent graduates from various educational backgrounds and then engage in an open conversation about what was said in several discussion groups.  We will discuss topics raised by the panellists as well as the audience.  We hope the discussions will help to encourage members of the construction industry, those thinking about entering into it or thinking making career shifts, to talk about their perceptions, misconceptions, why the industry is good to be in, as well as any issues being encountered.  Our objective is to collectively help strengthen the industry by talking about it and mentoring each other.

The event is also being held to introduce young women who are making their decisions about their future but may not know about construction and all the different roles that exist.

So, this event is for everyone.  We’ve put together a panel of construction industry representatives to speak about their experiences in construction. We have an impressive list of Lawyers, Engineers, Project Managers, and more.... this evening will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and interact with leaders in the industry, whether you’re considering a move or looking to align your passion with your career decisions in the coming months - this event is for you.

AIPM’s Women in Project Management (WiPM) initiative and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) share common goals of understanding what women want from their careers and to encourage women into industry who may not know of all the different career opportunities.

NAWIC and AIPM members are encouraged to come and be a part of the break out discussions to help us break down any misconceptions and spread the word about the fun and exciting careers that exist in construction and all related industries!
