About Us

This year NAWIC Australia is celebrating it's 15th year in exisistence! We would like to thank Dr. Paula Gerber for her voluntary efforts in getting the organisation up and running way back when!

The Victorian/Tasmanian Chapter of NAWIC was established in 1995 and currently has over 280 members from a wide range of construction industry occupations including; engineers, lawyers, architects, project managers, builders, quantity surveyors, tradeswomen, interior designers, small businesswomen, marketing, education, developers, property, and research and development.

The Chapter has strong support from industry, with 25 organisations holding corporate membership and many more supporting our activities through sponsorship for events, the Awards, the National Conference and other educational seminars.

The Chapter organises a range of activities for members and their associates, ranging from social functions, annual Awards of Excellence, education seminars, site visits, mentoring program, scholarships and key speaker events. Through these activities, the Victorian/Tasmanian Chapter endeavours to provide personal and professional development, knowledge sharing, networking opportunities, support and recognition for continued involvement and advancement of professionals in the construction industry.
