Winners of the 2009 International Women’s Day Scholarship Announced NAWIC's International Women's Day breakfast was hosted by FDC Fitout and Construction.NAWIC used the occasion to announce the winner of NAWIC NSW/ACT inaugural International Women’s Day Scholarship. The NAWIC NSW/ACT International Women’s Day Scholarship presented an opportunity for women in the construction industry to develop a white paper that can be used as a positive instrument for change in the construction industry. The white paper will have an international component, present ideas to challenge existing industry thinking and present practical tools that can be used to implement the ideas. NAWIC was delighted by the response and interest the scholarship received. The entries presented a diverse and interesting range of research topics with applicants from around The judges this year were Deborah Dearing Stockland, Linda Corkery UNSW, Catherine Fox AFR, Richard Munao Corporate Culture and Letitia Turnbull. We thank all the judges for their time and effort throughout the process. This year the judges decided to award the scholarship to two winners with an equal share of the prize money.
